There were cakes and coffee all ‘round the EMEA offices last Wednesday as the team took part in the “World’s Biggest Coffee Morning” in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. Employees from across the EMEA region were in the office for the September sales meeting, and were able to fill their bellies with homemade (and not so homemade) cakes.
Sara Phillips organised the event, which saw £215.87 raised for Macmillan Cancer Support, a figure that Anitox has matched, bringing the total to a whopping £431.74! Massive thanks must be extended to Sara and everyone who supplied cakes for this worthwhile cause.
Mel Bowler won the “Best Baker” badge for her Victoria sponge, while Simon Brown won the “Guess the spots on the cake” competition before kindly donating his winnings back to the cause.
Macmillan Cancer Support is a charity that provides help for millions of people each year that are affected by cancer in the UK, not just those diagnosed with the disease but also those around them. We are all proud to have been involved in raising money for this excellent cause.
