In early September Anitox participated in the Arkansas Nutrition Conference, held by The Poultry Federation, a conglomerate of the poultry industry in Texas, Arkansas and Oklahoma (USA).
In addition to general sponsorship of the event, Bob Roberts, Ashley Drake and Jim Brewer hosted a dinner for current and former students of Dr. Park Waldroup, Poultry Nutrition Professor in the University of Arkansas Department of Poultry Science. The dinner was well attended with over 30 alumni. Along with cocktails and dinner, each individual receive a nutritionist toolkit and invitation to view Dr. Joe Mortiz’s recent webinar on the link between pellet quality and nutrient values. A write-up about the dinner will also appear in the University of Arkansas Poultry Science newsletter which is distributed to all graduates of the Poultry Science program.
According to Bob, “this is a success story which will result in improved access with several key players and more business for Anitox down the road.”
