Your responsibilities and tasks as a Feed Milling Technologist:
Anitox is seeking experienced sales professionals to build their Milling Efficiency Feed Ingredient product line. The Feed Milling Technologist (FMT) will drive achievement of the annual sales budget, while actively participating in a small, collaborative team environment. He/she will leverage their extensive background (training, work experience, technical expertise) in poultry and swine feed production for immediate impact. The FMT will build / expand relationships with feed industry key stakeholders and industry influencers for long term success, positioning the Anitox portfolio as the brand of choice. He/she will develop and execute a territory plan aimed to position Anitox as the leading milling efficiency solution provider. Anitox team members will work together to identify market trends / needs and contribute to the overall business plan for the long term success of the business. The FMT will be a frequent presenter and is expected to be a leader in the industry. The FMT will travel extensively and will report to the National Sales Manager. The role can be residence based anywhere within the US.
The primary responsibilities of this role, as Feed Milling Technologist, are to:
- Develop and implement a plan to achieve the sales budget and targeted individual products / programs;
- Leverage technical knowledge and product expertise to create an Anitox market advantage;
- Build & maintain relationships with high priority end users and industry influencers in assigned territory to drive product sales;
- Provide product training, technical support and stewardship, as well as participate in industry events to support the business and the business objectives;
- Collaborate with team members to maximize Feed Ingredients business results in both the short and long term in areas such as marketing, customer support, supply chain and regulatory;
- Build the Anitox brand into the position of market leadership in the market;
- Identify new opportunities for Anitox to participate in the market with existing and future products/services;
- Utilize KPI’s regularly to monitor/report progress toward goals and report on competitors, market conditions, etc;
- Identify and leverage market influencers (COI’s);
- Provide territory sales forecasts;
- Comply with all Anitox policies.
WHO YOU ARE
Required qualifications: Your success will be driven by your demonstration of our values. More specifically related to this position, Anitox seeks a person who is likely to possess the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant industry related field preferred (ex: animal science, poultry science, nutrition, marketing, business management);
- 12 years or more of industry related work experience;
- Strong technical knowledge of poultry and swine feed production practices and feed mill process technology;
- Existing feed company network;
- Demonstrated success achieving budgeted results;
- Ability to prioritize;
- Ability to work well independently and in teams;
- Excellent communication, presentation and leadership skills;
- General computer skills and ability to work in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook PowerPoint, etc.);
- Willingness to travel domestically up to 70% of the time, including overnights;
- Must have authorization to be immediately employed within the United States on a long term basis.
