Last week was the first 2017 EMEA Sales Meeting at Regent Park. Attendees from all over the region gathered in the UK Conference Suite for two days of training, discussion and updates. John Thornton kicked things off with an outline of our priorities going forwards, narrowing the focus down to five Key Growth Goals (KGGs), listed below in order of priority:
- Project Switch – Preparing EMEA’s Termin-8 customers for a potential switch to Finio
- Russia – Sales of Termin-8 Powder
- Breeders – Building our relationships with genetics companies. Expanding our influence
- Maxi-Mil – Continuing to build on current progress
- Layers – Continuing to build on current progress
Rick Phillips stressed the importance of Finio to Anitox, before Ruth Jewkes gave some examples of where EMEA’s Finio champions have already made breakthroughs, including sales in Italy, Germany, and Finland.
With Project Switch topping the priority list, a new Switch presentation was unveiled by John Thornton, showing that both Finio and F4 have roles to play in future. The morning’s session was rounded off with a Q&A and discussion on how to handle objections.
Reconvening after lunch, Kurt Richardson trained the team on the use of the new Finio Demo Kit, before each sales manager talked everyone through the plan for their territories.
Day two of the meeting saw an in-depth discussion and learning session led by John Thornton, followed by a session where pairs of sales managers and engineers put their Switch story knowledge to the test.
The February sales meeting was rounded off with the Global Town Hall. Thank you to all involved for a productive and educational sales meeting.
